Tulsa Woman Wrapped In Duct Tape In Armed Robbery

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa police say three men robbed a woman at a Tulsa apartment complex Tuesday afternoon. The woman was wrapped in duct tape and thrown in a closet, officers say.

The armed robbery took place at the Somerset Park Apartments in the 9500 block of East 65th Street Tuesday around 12:30 p.m.

At least one of the men had a handgun, police say.

"The suspects bound the victim with tape and put her in a closet," police say. The woman was able to escape and go for help at a neighbor's apartment.

The three men got away with a handgun, records show.

Some neighbors said the incident makes them consider moving, "I moved from the one across the street because it wasn't very safe. There were a few home invasions, so I moved here, that makes me feel bad."

The woman was upset but not hurt, police say.
