No. 3 Oklahoma will begin its two-game road swing on Wednesday against Texas Tech.

The Sooners are 20-4 overall and 8-4 in the Big 12 after falling 76-72 to Kansas Saturday afternoon.

In that matchup, Oklahoma shot cold the first half, making just two of its first 11 attempts and was 0-5 from long range. Opening the second half, the Sooners looked much better than the first. With a combined effort from Buddy Hield, Jordan Woodard and Isaiah Cousins, OU took a one-point lead, the team’s first since the opening minute of the game. Kansas soon tied the game and went on to win.

Hield finished with 24 points and is currently averaging 25.6 points per game, ranking first in the Big 12 and second nationally.

Texas Tech is 15-9 on the season and 5-7 in the Big 12.

The Red Raiders are coming off back-to-back wins over ranked opponents (then No. 14 Iowa State and No. 21 Baylor).

The team’s 84-66 win over Baylor was the team’s largest margin of victory over a ranked opponent in program history.

In the matchup, Red Raiders sophomore guard Keenan Evans delivered a career-high 21-points and contributed five assists and a career-best four steals. Evans is the fifth Texas Tech player this season to surpass the 20-point mark in a game and reach ten-plus in three consecutive games.

OU ranks first nationally in three-point field goal percentage by making 262-of-591 of its long range shots.

Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m.

After Texas Tech, the Sooners will hit the road for another Big 12 matchup against No. 10 West Virginia.

That game is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. this Saturday.
