A car chase that started near Nowata ended with a crash in Kansas Wednesday night.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, Dwight Durant, around 6:45 p.m. a trooper attempted to pull over a vehicle for no headlights near Nowata.
Durant said the vehicle sped off and a chase continued into Kansas.
He said troopers attempted a tactical vehicle intercept, but the car crashed near Parsons, Kansas.
According to Durant, the driver was checked out at the scene and will eventually be taken to the jail in Labette County.
He said when troopers ran the vehicle it was reported stolen.
Durant said the driver will be booked on multiple complaints, including possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding.
