Tulsa Officers Assist Sapulpa Police With Armed Robbery Arrests

Tulsa and Sapulpa police teamed late Wednesday to take three alleged robbery suspects into custody.

Police said the armed robbery happened in Sapulpa on Tuesday.  Sapulpa officers were following the suspects' SUV and asked Tulsa Police for assistance after entering Tulsa city limits.
    
Just before 10:45 p.m. officers stopped the Toyota RAV4 on Interstate-44 near Harvard.  That is when the driver got out and ran across the highway.  

With help of TPD's helicopter, police quickly tracked him down.  Two female suspects who remained in the vehicle were also arrested.  

Police said all three were handed over to Sapulpa police who took them back to Sapulpa for questioning.
