Having won three in a row at the Mabee Center, the Oral Roberts men's basketball team will try to carry momentum on the road as the Golden Eagles face two of the top three teams in the league in the final weekend of the regular season. The road trip begins Thursday as ORU travels to Omaha to play in the brand new Baxter Arena.

Thursday's Summit League contest will be broadcast online through OMavs.com for a subscription fee of $8.95. Geoff Haxton's radio call of the game can be heard at 97.1 FM in the Tulsa area and around the world for free through www.ORUAthletics.com and through theORU Athletics Front Row App.

Quick Hits
• Despite dropping an 85-79 contest at the Mabee Center earlier this year, ORU holds a 4-1 record in the all-time series against Omaha. The first two meetings came during the 1974 and 1976 seasons, while the most recent three have come as Summit League opponents.

• A win Thursday would get the Golden Eagles back over the .500 mark for the season and make it four straight wins, the longest streak since winning five in a row in November.

• A loss Thursday would give ORU nine Summit League losses, making it impossible to finish .500 in the league.

• ORU started the year 8-2, claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

• Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a league-best three Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
