Tulsa's Admiral Twin Drive-In Reopens For The Season

Tulsa's Admiral Twin Drive-In reopened for the year Friday evening.

The famous drive-in originally opened in May of 1951 with just one screen. The Admiral is also known for its association with the S.E. Hinton book "The Outsiders."  The book was later turned into a movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

The Admiral Twin Drive-In was rebuilt in 2012 after being destroyed in a fire in 2010.
