Chickasha Police Identify Woman Found Dead In Creek

Chickasha police have identified a woman whose body was found in a creek Sunday afternoon.

According to police, at about 1:05 p.m., officers responded to the report of a body found in Line Creek, in the 1000 block of Penn. Ave.

The Medical Examiner’s office arrived at the scene to conduct further investigation. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s crime scene technicians were requested to assist Chickasha Police Investigators.

After the body was retrieved from the creek, investigators identified the victim as 43-year-old Tracy Renee Jackson of Chickasha. The Medical Examiner will determine her exact cause of death, and reports are being prepared by Chickasha Police Investigations Division.
