Stealing Frank Lloyd Wright Chair Sends Bartlesville Man To Prison

A Bartlesville man is headed to prison for five years for stealing a chair from the Price Tower.

The chair was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Rodney Crane, 40, pleaded guilty in December to stealing the chair from the 19th floor of the tower on October 4, 2015.

Police arrested Crane after getting a tip that identified him in surveillance video from the Price Tower. Police served a search warrant at Crane's apartment and found the chair.

Police also recovered a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed gate stolen from the Price home.
