TULSA, Oklahoma -

The YMCA of Greater Tulsa could soon hold a place in the Guinness Book of World records for the World's Longest Double Pipe Slide. It all started during the United Way's Day of Caring last fall.

Hundreds of QuikTrip employees volunteered to give the Westside YMCA a big makeover including building the slide. They say the longest double pipe slide before this one is one in Texas that's 140 feet long.

But Tulsa's is 220 feet long.

"It's just something that's unreplicable. You can't find it anywhere else in Tulsa, and we love that," said Matt Hancock, YMCA of Greater Tulsa.

They're still waiting to hear back from Guinness to confirm that their slide is, in fact, the longest.
