TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa County's new sheriff officially takes office Monday.  Vic Regalado is scheduled to be sworn 9:20 a.m. at the Tulsa County courthouse.

Regalado beat Democrat Rex Berry in the April 5 special election. He will serve the remainder of Stanley Glanz's term, which expires at the end of the year. A general election will be held in the fall.

Glanz, who had been sheriff for 27 years, resigned on September 30, 2015 after a grand jury indicted him on two misdemeanor charges.
