Bartlesville Breaks Ground On New Public Safety Center

Voters approved the nearly six million dollar project four years ago, but city leaders just broke ground Tuesday.

The new state of the art public safety complex will put both the Bartlesville police and fire departments under the same roof in the heart of downtown.

The new building will be built next to the historic fire station, which will be remodeled and incorporated into it.

City leaders hope the center will be open by early next year.
