Sometimes you run out of superlatives to describe the play of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant this season.

Westbrook posted a triple-double in 18 minutes, tying Magic Johnson's record for triple-doubles in a season since the NBA-ABA merger.

"Another legend, somebody that I looked up to, one of my favorite players growing up and it's definitely a blessing," said Westbrook.

And Kevin Durant scored over 20 points for the 64th game in a row.

"That's the standard I hold myself up to now, so I got to get my teammates involved,” stated Durant. “I got to make plays, and scoring the ball is what I've been doing for a long time now, but just building other parts of my game, I think that's what I try to focus on."

Their performance did not go unnoticed by a future Hall of Famer. Kobe Bryant  had high praise for his fellow USA teammates.

"(Westbrook) I've never seen a guy get a triple double as many times as he has in a season, that's pretty outrageous,” said Bryant. “He's probably the most athletic player I've played against.  (Durant) He's such a fantastic player, man.  He has no flaws in his game. There's literally nothing he can't do offensively."

For the Thunder, the focus now turns to the playoffs.

"Our fans have been great, not just this year but since I've been here,” said Westbrook. “We have to get ready as a team and be ready to play for them towards the playoffs."
