Man Burned Trying To Put Out Tulsa Fire

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

A man was sent to the hospital after a fire near Pine and Yale Wednesday morning.

Firefighters said they think a man was living in the shed, and he was possibly the man who was burned trying to put it out.

Firefighters say there were six people living in the main house, and they were giving the seventh person a place to stay in the shed. They say that's where the fire was mostly contained to - the house only had minor siding damage.

They say a man tried to put it out with a garden hose. He was burned; firefighters don't know how badly

The fire captain doesn't have a reason to believe anything illegal was going on that could have caused. The fire marshal will have to determine cause.
