University of Tulsa security detained a man early Thursday morning on campus. We're told they became suspicious that the man might be trying to steal a campus bicycle.

Tulsa Police were called to the scene around 6 a.m. and have taken the man into custody. He's been identified as Tyler Patrick Harp.

Authorities say they found a .22-caliber revolver in the man's bag, and he had some shells in his pocket.

Harp has an outstanding felony warrant out for his arrest from Craig County for escape from a penal institution. He was incarcerated on second-degree burglary convictions.
