Suicidal Person Safely Removed From Bridge, Tulsa Interstate Re-opened

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Tulsa Police safely removed a suicidal person from a bridge over Interstate 244.

The OHP closed the eastbound lanes of I-244 at the Delaware exit a few minutes before 3 p.m. because Tulsa Police told them a person was threatening to jump off the Pittsburg Avenue overpass.  

The OHP said Tulsa Police got the person off the bridge at about 4:15 p.m. so it re-opened all lanes of eastbound Interstate 244.
