Downtown Owasso Gets New Name; Searching For New Logo

Downtown Owasso will soon be known as the Redbud district.
The city wanted to give its Main Street a name, similar to Broken Arrow's Rose District.
A committee came up with five choices - the Depot District, the Hub, Main Place, Scissortail District and the Redbud District.
More than 1,600 people voted online and The Redbud District won.
The city is now hosting a logo contest to go with the new name. Instructions for the logo contest are on the City website.
