The Muskogee County District Attorney's Office said more than $50,000 in charitable donations seized during a traffic stop will be returned.

Eh Wah, manager of a Christian rock band from Burma, was pulled over on February 27th for a broken brake light. He said a Muskogee County deputy searched his car and found $53,000 in cash.

Wah said he tried to explain that the money was mostly from donations, but he claims the deputy confiscated the cash because his drug dog hit on the car.

The Institute for Justice took up the case and said even though no drugs were found in Wah's car, the Muskogee County D.A. filed a motion to allow the county to keep the money.

We called the Muskogee County D.A. and they said, Monday afternoon, they realized there was not enough evidence to prove their case so the cash will be returned.

Wah said the money is supposed to be donated to an orphanage in Thailand.
