The Broken Arrow Public School Board is voting Monday night on budget cuts worth more than $7 million. The Board's regular meeting 6 p.m. at the Education Service Center, 701 South Main.
In their public meeting agenda, it doesn't say specifically what areas they'll be voting on, but based on what Superintendent Dr. Jarod Mendenhall has published on the district's website - he's said they'll reduce central office support staff.
That's a move that the TPS school board, for example, has already done.
You may remember, BAPS sent out a community survey last month, asking folks to prioritize budget cuts. The top five areas that the community prefers to cut are staff travel, utility costs, printing, central offices and field trips.

Increasing class sizes - on the other hand - were some of the last resort items - with two different options coming in at 11th and 15th. If you want to speak at the meeting, you have to request time beforehand.
