Dog Lost In Garvin County Storm Reunited With Family

A dog found wandering around after a tornado swept across the Katie community in Garvin County, Oklahoma, has been reunited with her family.

News 9 was there for the reunion Tuesday morning. Reporter Justin Dougherty said when our news crew arrived at the Katie community to survey storm damage, they saw the pup wandering around. She was scared and even hid in the bush for a little while.

We learned that the dog’s owner lost her house in the tornado. She survived by being in a storm shelter.  

Tuesday morning, News 9 was there when the pup was reunited with her owner’s daughter.
