Two were hospitalized after a fiery crash in Delaware County on Saturday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says.

According to a collision report, an 18-year-old woman failed to yield to another vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 412 and County Road 660, which is 4 miles east of Kansas, Oklahoma.

When Shaley Seyersdahl, of Colcord, struck the second vehicle, it caught fire, OHP says. She was transported to a Siloam Springs hospital with head and trunk external injuries and is said to be stable.

Seyersdahl had three juvenile passengers in her 2013 Chevrolet Sonic. A 15-year-old girl was transferred by helicopter to Springfield, Missouri and is in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries, the report says.

Two 16-year-old passengers were transferred to a Siloam Springs hospital, and both girls were treated and released.

The driver of the other vehicle, Saydi Welch, 18, of Centerton, Arkansas, was treated and released from a Siloam Springs hospital, according to the report.

The investigating trooper said the condition of both drivers was apparently normal. All occupants were wearing seat belts, he said.
