Tulsa Burglary Suspect Found Asleep In Woman's Closet

<p>Police say they arrested a burglar after a Tulsa resident finds&nbsp;him passed out in her home's closet Tuesday morning.</p>

Police say they arrested a burglar after a Tulsa woman found him passed out in her closet Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the home in the 2700 block of South 79th East Avenue Monday night because of a burglary alarm.  The left after finding nothing around the outside of the home.

The owner, who wasn't at the house, said the alarm kept going off overnight. She assumed it was a defective alarm.  Then just before 7 a.m., the owner finally went to the home and discovered it ransacked.

She told police she heard moaning coming from a closet and found an unconscious 21-year-old man inside. 

Police believe man, identified as Neil Burch of Broken Arrow was under the influence of drugs, that he had possibly stolen while in the home.  They said EMSA checked Burch out and then they booked him into the Tulsa County jail.
