TPD: Driver Leaves Scene After Hitting 7-Year-Old

Tulsa police are searching for a car that left the scene after hitting a child playing in a neighborhood near 1300 North Rockford Avenue.

Police said the 7-year-old was taken to the hospital to be looked at. They said the child had a few cuts and bruises and was shaken up, but overall OK.

One witness said the child flew onto the hood of the car after being hit.

Police said they are searching for a 2000s gold or cream-colored Chevy Impala with chrome rims and tint on the rear window.
