Local cyclists got a chance to ride with the pros Wednesday night.

Professional riders Jeremy Powers and Ellen Noble are in town for Tulsa Tough this week and joined the group of cyclists who leave from Tulsa's River West Festival park every Wednesday night.

Powers said he's impressed by the turnout of cyclists who ride every week in Tulsa.

"I like riding. It's my passion. So being able to come out and share that and kind of connect with everyone here is awesome. This is a very special thing to be a part of, not every community has 100-plus people come out to do a group ride on a Wednesday at five," Powers said.

Powers and Noble also attended to promote Tulsa's Bike Club program. The program recruits volunteers to help TPS students ride bikes after school.
