3.3 Magnitude Earthquake Rumbles Near Alva

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Alva, Oklahoma, Wednesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded just before 5:00 a.m.  Its epicenter was located 16 miles south, southwest of Alva, and 64 miles east, northeast of Woodward.

There have been no reports of damage associated with this earthquake.
