Kevin Durant to Meet With Thunder on Thursday

With Kevin Durant set to officially be a free agent on Friday July 1, it appears his meeting with the Thunder will come one day before on Thursday according to ESPN.

Durant is expected to fly from Los Angeles to Oklahoma City on Thursday, and meet with the incumbent Thunder before heading to New York to meet with the remaining teams on his list in the Hamptons. OKC is the only team allowed to meet with Durant before Friday, seeing he's still under contract with the Thunder until midnight on Friday.

The other teams will have to wait a bit longer, with the Warriors expected to meet with Durant on Friday, while the Spurs are reportedly set for Saturday and the Heat penciled in for Sunday. Both the Celtics and Clippers are expected to meet with Durant as well, while the Knicks are still looking to secure an opportunity to talk with him face-to-face.

It's likely going to be a hectic few days while Durant is mulling over his choices, but it's likely his decision comes before July 9, when Durant is expected to leave for a publicity tour in the far East, according to the Vertical.
