Truck Runs Off Tulsa Bridge, Lands On Highway Below

A truck ran off a bridge in Tulsa and landed on a highway below Thursday morning.

It happened at the Highway 169/Interstate 244 junction at about 7:45 a.m. 

It appears the truck was taking the northbound 169 exit to westbound 244 when it ran off the west side of the bridge and landed in the eastbound lanes of 244 about 30 feet below.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the crash blocked three lanes of eastbound I-244. The OHP said a second vehicle involved in the crash blocked one lane of the northbound 169 ramp to westbound 244 ramp.

The OHP said no one was hurt in the wreck.

The wreck backed up traffic on eastbound 244 for about a mile.
