Two Oklahoma Sheriff's offices are using Facebook to warn people about door-to-door meat sales.

Authorities said it's a situation that could put people in danger. In both cases these salespeople claim to represent a meat company in Oklahoma City.

The first warning came out from the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office. Two men driving a white truck with a chest freezer in the back were caught looking in the windows of homes, and when confronted, their claims don't add up.

Tuesday night, the Custer County Sheriff's office said two people called them about a woman also driving a white truck with a freezer. When one victim asked the woman to leave, she got angry. Authorities caught up with the driver who was with the Texas Choice Meat Company, but admitted she wasn't selling, just hanging out. She got a ticket for having an expired license. The truck's tags were also expired.

Authorities are warning people to be wary of people selling door-to-door. Don't give personal information or let them inside. If they refuse to leave when asked, call 911.
