TULSA, Oklahoma -

A semi knocked down a utility pole near 51st and Mingo on Friday morning, shutting off power to hundreds of customers.

Police said the truck snagged power lines with its trailer which then broke the pole.

PSO said the incident knocked out power to 611 customers. A repair crew quickly restored power to all but six of those customers.

The crew then began replacing the pole and the transformers attached to it.

PSO said the remaining customers would get power restored by about noon.
