Tulsa Officer Suffers Minor Injuries In Crash

A police officer is expected to be OK after being involved in a two car crash in east Tulsa late Friday. 

Police said the crash happened at the intersection of 21st and South Garnett Road just after 11 p.m.  

Police Cpl. J.D. Lawson says according the video from the patrol car's dash cam video, the officer was headed south on Garnett when a northbound car turned left on a green light, colliding with his car.

The officer was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out for some minor injuries.  Police say the four people in the other car were not injured.  

Cpl. Lawson that car's driver was cited for failure to yield.
