PSO now expects to have all power in Tulsa back on by 5 p.m. Sunday.

The utility says as of 1 p.m. they had just over 5,200 customers still without power in Tulsa and Wagoner counties. That is down from the nearly 109,000 customers who who were without power Thursday afternoon after a line of severe thunderstorms roared through Tulsa and eastern Oklahoma.

PSO says residents in northwest and northeast parts of Tulsa should have power restored by 5 p.m. Saturday.  Those living in the southwest part of Tulsa should have power restored by 10 p.m. Saturday.  And customers in southeast Tulsa including the Broken Arrow and Coweta areas should have power restored by 10 p.m. Sunday.

PSO outage information

PSO crews along with other out of state utilities who sent workers and trucks to Oklahoma are now in neighborhoods from Tulsa to Broken Arrow and Coweta working to get the power back on.

PSO spokesperson Stan Whiteford says the last time they had this much help come in from out of state was in 2013 during a major damaging wind event.
