TULSA, Oklahoma -

Four people are recovering after a car crash following a Tulsa Police chase late Wednesday.

Officers tried to stop a car in a north Tulsa neighborhood at about 11:30 p.m. when the driver sped off.

The chase started in the 5300 block of North Hartford and ended a few blocks south when the driver lost control and the car hit a tree.

Police said the driver was thrown from the car, but three passengers were trapped until firefighters could free them from the wreckage.
