TULSA, Oklahoma - Collinsville driver Cody Moore took News On 6 along for the ride at Tulsa Raceway Park this weekend.

Moore took his car to the track for the Super Chevy Show.

Moore drive's a 1966 Chevy Nova that's been heavily modified. In addition to the race engine, it has a roll cage and other features installed to keep him safe. 

Moore allowed News On 6 to attach camera to his dashboard, to give the rest of us a taste of what it's like to blast down the track with the throttle wide open.

Moore's Chevy has a 598-cubic-inch big block engine which runs on 116 octane gas. On this run he blew threw the quarter-mile in just under 10 seconds.
