Tulsa Man Run Over After Jumping On Car, Falling Off During Domestic Dispute

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital on Sunday afternoon after he was run over by a vehicle during a domestic dispute, Tulsa police say.

TPD says it began when a woman, her boyfriend and her ex-husband got into an argument before 1 p.m. at an apartment complex near 51st and Memorial.

When the ex-husband got in his vehicle to leave, the woman's boyfriend jumped on the car, police said. As the vehicle entered 51st Street, the man fell off the car and was launched underneath a truck that was traveling westbound.

Officers said the boyfriend's leg was run over by the second vehicle and his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police said there were no citations given, and the driver of the truck had no time to react before hitting the man.

A domestic violence investigation will ensue, TPD said.
