Greenleaf State Park Back Open For Visitors

Greenleaf State Park is back open after tornado damage kept closed earlier this spring. More than 150 trees were uprooted when an EF 1 tornado came through at the end of April. Several buildings on site were also damaged. 

It took workers three weeks to clean all of this up and move the brush to another area. 
  
The park reopened before Memorial Day but park representatives say they're still getting calls from folks who think it's closed. So they want the public to know Greenleaf State Park is open. Everything has been cleaned up, and there's a lot of fun stuff to do out here this summer.
