Firefighters Work To Put Out House Fire In West Tulsa

Posted: Updated:

Firefighters are trying to put out hot spots after flames tore through a home located at 5300 West Cameron Street.

Firefighters say they had a hard time getting to the fire due to road construction on 49th West Avenue.

When they arrived at the home, they saw heavy smoke and flames.

Firefighters say they then went into a defensive position to contain the flames, had a quick knock down, then went inside in an offensive position to search for hot spots.

No one was injured and no one was in the home upon their arrival, according to firefighters.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

This story will be updated as more details develop.
