Day two of fall camp for the Cowboys kicked off Wednesday.

After practice, offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich said he likes where the offense is with all the veterans and that the receiving corps will be a strength.

Despite established veterans, Jenks graduate Dillon Stoner has been turning heads early.

The former Trojan scored ten touchdowns on 36 catches last year and drew praise from coaches based on his summer workouts.

His new coach credits his old coach.

"Allan Trimble, man. He's got it right,” said Mike Gundy. “Those guys over there do a great job with them, and when I went over there last year to visit with Allan and their staff, the one thing they mentioned is he could be as good a player that's ever come out of there. You talk about a guy that's just been productive and a really good football player. Up to this point, it's held to be true."

Quarterback Mason Rudolph added, "He's fast, man. He's a good player. He's quiet, he's driven and he wants to learn. Seems like he's pretty motivated to play early. He's a fast guy, runs good routes, and he's ready to learn."
