The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a truck carrying an oversize load damaged railing on a downtown Tulsa exit ramp Thursday morning.
Troopers said it happened on Highway 75 at the 1st Street exit ramp.
The truck was hauling a bulldozer, and the driver stopped about a block away from the ramp after he realized he'd hit something, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
The highway was narrowed to one lane while crews removed the damaged rail. The lane has now been reopened.
ODOT says the damage will cost about $30,000 to repair.
Another driver called News On 6 later in the day to say some of the damage had been done about two weeks ago by a truck carrying heat exchangers. He said he was driving by and witnessed it.
