MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma -

Federal prosecutors say a Tahlequah man has pled guilty to drug conspiracy for collecting debts for a state prison gang.

They say Jimmy Sequichie, 25, was indicted in March 2016 for being an enforcer for the Indian Brotherhood.  The feds say Sequichie threatened or committed acts of violence when he collected drug money.

Prosecutors say Sequichie now faces a federal prison sentence of five to 40 years.

The government says Sequichie's case came as a result of an investigation of the Indian Brotherhood gang in Oklahoma's prisons.

One of those gang members, Cody McClendon, 46, who is in a McAlester prison was allegedly using a contraband cell phone to to coordinate the buying and selling of the meth.
