Police say two stabbings in downtown Tulsa overnight are not related.
The latest incident happened at about 5:15 a.m. Wednesday near 6th and Elgin. Officers say a man in his 50s told officers he was stabbed in the back. EMSA took the victim to the hospital.
This incident comes after another man was stabbed at Centennial Park near 6th and Peoria at around 11 p.m. Tuesday. In this case, Tulsa Police said the victim didn't know the person who stabbed him. He was also taken to the hospital by EMSA.
Police say in both cases, the victims are being treated for non-life threatening wounds.
