Tulsa City Councilors toured the Woody Guthrie Center Tuesday.
Councilor Connie Dodson said it's the first time she's been to the downtown museum, and that she enjoyed the visit.
She called it a treasure trove of artifacts and information about the legendary folk singer, songwriter.
This is one of several field trips city councilors are taking, as part of their efforts to market Tulsa as a tourist destination.
"It would make a very nice day-trip for anybody coming into Tulsa - to spend time in the downtown area, and see not only this museum but also some of the art locations that are downtown as well,” Dodson said.
