Driver Who Hit Tulsa House Says He Was Being Chased, Police Say

Tulsa Police are still investigating why a driver drove his car through the wall of a home near 61st and Sheridan. The driver told police he was being chased - right before he lost control and slammed into the house.

His car went through a woman's bedroom around 9 p.m. Tuesday. The homeowner says she's OK, and although she wasn't in the master bedroom when it happened, she normally is at that time of night.

The driver stuck around until police got there. They interviewed him and got his information but released him. Again, he told police someone was chasing him and he lost control 

The officer I talked to was not able to say if they think that's legitimate or not, because he wasn't on scene. But he told me, once the reports completed, this case could be handed off to an investigator Wednesday.
