With smartphones and iPads, it's never been this easy to save money so quickly, and it's all right at your fingertips.

There are a ton of money saving apps you can download, but we’re going to look at just six of them that can help ‘Seriously Save You Money.’

Our first app could seriously save just about everyone money; after all, most folks don't have a choice and have to buy gas, but you do have a choice of where you buy it.

That's where the app, GasBuddy can help.

Owasso resident, John Heasley said, "I can pull it up and it will tell me exactly where I'm at and where I need to go to get the best gas prices."

Heasley said it's always accurate since other users of the app send in the price info. And, he says it always saves him money.

"I noticed $1.84 here, and drive five miles that way and it will be over $2,” he said.

SnipSnap is another app that can seriously save you money. You can pull up coupons for savings at retailers right from your smartphone.

When I downloaded the app, I found a number of discounts for JC Penney's, so I decided to put the app to the test.

I used the coupon I found on SnipSnap to buy a pair of shoes - regularly priced the shoes are $60, but thanks to the app, I save $18.

Just make sure you read the fine print on the SnipSnap app coupon.

Its slogan is never forget a coupon, never miss a deal.

"I used to go through all the coupons, and, never fails, you go to the store and never have the coupons with you,” Heasley laughed. “You always have your phone, seems like everybody always has their phone with them."

One of Heasley’s favorite apps is RetailMeNot, which is similar and offers coupons, coupon codes and other deals at retailers.

It also offers restaurant deals.

But, if you’re looking for one for restaurants, Where Do Kids Eat Free Today, is one to look into. That app will answer the question based on your location.

"That's an awesome idea. Wish I had it when my kids were little," Owasso resident Kathy Carroll said.

Our next money saving app is called Discount Soldier. It shows where veterans and active duty personnel can get discounts - everything from auto parts to outdoor gear.

And our final app will help you really save what you've saved with all these new apps.

It's called Unsplurge; the app helps you track savings for a particular goal, like a trip or saving for a car. You log when you set money aside for your goal, and watch your savings add up with the app.
