It was another Sunday of free concerts on the Guthrie Green today.

Tulsa Roots Music partnered September 18, 2016 with the Cherokee Nation to host "Cherokee Nation Day."

Cherokee musicians, flutists, artists and performers came out to educate people about the tribe's culture. The tribe also provided traditional Cherokee arts for the kids.

"This is a great location to help interact with the Tulsa community and showcase our Cherokee history and culture here at the Guthrie Green,” said Travis Owens with Cherokee Nation Cultural Tourism.

Tulsa Roots Music hosts several concerts on the Green throughout the fall.
