Broken Arrow Residents Can Dispose Of Hazardous Waste Year Round For Free

Broken Arrow folks will be able to dispose of hazardous household waste year-round at the City of Tulsa's Household Pollutant Collection Facility - for free.

There had been a charge for non-Tulsa residents.

They will need to contact the Metropolitan Environment Trust (M.e.t.) to schedule an appointment and get a confirmation number to do so free of charge. Broken Arrow residents should call 918-584-0584 to schedule.

The facility is located at 4502 South Galveston Avenue in west Tulsa. That's north of Highway 44 off South Elwood Avenue. You can also reach it from West 41st Street off Highway 75.

The Household Pollutant Collection Facility is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. It opened in January of this year and serves Tulsa residents as well.
