ME Releases Cause, Manner Of Death Of Terence Crutcher

The Medical Examiner's office has released the cause and manner of death for Terence Crutcher Friday morning.

According to the ME, the cause of death of Crutcher is penetrating gunshot wound to the chest. His manner of death is homicide.

The toxicology results and autopsy report are not complete at this time, the ME's office said.

Crutcher was shot and killed by Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby. Shelby has been charged with first-degree manslaughter. She turned herself in to authorities early Friday morning, and has since bonded out.
