A missing Pauls Valley girl has been found safe after her mother turned herself in to authorities in Illinois Monday morning.

According to Pauls Valley police, Cienna Colungo, 8, went missing Sunday afternoon after her mother, Jessica Smithers, took her away from her home. Police said Cienna's father has sole custody and Smithers is only authorized for supervised visitation.

At about 7:45 a.m. Monday, police said Smithers turned herself in at the Vandalia, Illinois police department. Cienna was with her and is safe.

Smithers has been arrested and is currently in jail in Vandalia. The Garvin County District Attorney’s Office has issued a warrant for Smithers. She is wanted for violation of child custody order. A bond has been set at $20,000 for her, and extradition from all states was authorized.

Cienna's father is on his way to pick her up.
