The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is offering a $10,000 reward for possible video evidence in the murder of Carina Saunders.

The OSBI announced the reward on Wednesday during a news conference.

Thursday, October 13, 2016, marks five years since human remains were found behind a Bethany grocery store. The medical examiner’s office identified the remains as 19-year-old Carina Saunders.

The Bethany Police Department requested OSBI special agents take over the investigation more than a year after the homicide. Since then, OSBI special agents and many other law enforcement officials in the metro area have followed countless leads. However, OSBI special agents have not identified a suspect.

Bethany and Oklahoma City police detectives, OSBI special agents and other law enforcement officials have interviewed more than 100 people in the past five years about this homicide. OSBI special agents have spent the past several years narrowing a timeline of events in Saunders' life. Agent Jim Ely is focusing on her last year with emphasis on several dates, when she was last seen by a relative, when she was last seen and when her remains were found.

According to the OSBI, Saunders did not have a vehicle nor did she own a cell phone. She relied on others to give her rides to different destinations. She also borrowed cell phones to communicate. OSBI agents want to speak to anyone who gave Saunders a ride, or let her use their phone from September 28, 2011 up to when her body was found.

Saunders was last seen on October 8, 2011, getting inside a red, dual cab pickup truck at the Newcastle Casino. A man who was seen getting out of the truck had tattoo sleeves on both arms. OSBI needs to identify that man and others inside the truck.

According to the OSBI, during the investigation, many of those interviewed by authorities claim to have seen a video of her murder, but no one has a copy or clips of that video. The OSBI is offering up to $10,000, the largest amount available under state law, for a copy of that video.

If you have any information, call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.

Other relevant information about the murder will be considered a reward.
