TULSA, Oklahoma - News On 6 is working to end childhood hunger in Oklahoma.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $8,000 for the Food For Kids program with the help of the Tulsa State Fair.

Friday, we presented the check to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

"It will go home in the form of backpacks, it will stock school pantries at high schools and middle schools, and it will be produce at our free family farmer's markets at head start locations. It's going to go very quickly from the fair to the tables of people who need it," Eileen Bradshaw said.

Your donations were matched by the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma, so, all told, more than $16,000 was raised to help feed hungry kids.
