Jets Pay Tribute To Dennis Byrd Before Game

The New York Jets paid tribute to life of Green Country native Dennis Byrd before their game against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday. 

The team held a moment of silence before the game.  Dennis' wife Angela, and their children served as honorary captains on the field. That included 12-year-old Zach - who was in the car with Dennis when they were hit head-on by another driver near Claremore.

Dennis died at the scene, while Zach suffered injuries to his leg.

The Jets were able to give him a win - beating the Ravens 24 to 16.
