Some lucky kids at Jones Elementary have new running shoes.

Fleet Feet Sports and Adidas gave away about 40 pairs of shoes to participants of the Zoomerangs youth running program.

The goal is to get children of the digital age away from screens and active outside.

Lance Miller with Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa said, "We hope that it instills in them a love for being outdoors and active; and whether that's running and walking or another activity, we hope it leads to a lifetime of activity and health."

The kids also got free entry to the Tulsa Run.
